Events are unfolding rapidly at the house of Migraine.

New EP, "Weird Tales" almost finished, to be released this fall on Cowabunga and Stress Domain records.
Our first t-shirts, featuring art by Jake from Ecoli (with whom we share members) is also now being forged.
We are also in the beginning stages of planning a Migraine/Ecoli southwest tour this fall, and a collaborative (not a split) tape released in honor of it.

  1. In many a sub-culture there is commonly found a divide in the human mass which takes mode as the decadent and so called intellectuals. But it is generous of me to label that one faction as "intellectuals" when considering the contemporary sub-cultures. That is due to the fact that many of these new sub-culture constituents are Philistines who, through devious trickery, have become superficially intellectual. Thus, it is the angry yet superfluous Philistines, who do not mask their primitiveness, which garner my admiration.

Yea, for a while the artistic revelers of time past were truly inventive all throughout the globe;however, I find today's cultural pantheon questionable. And even now I hesitate to collectively name them as a pantheon. Where are their convictions? Where are their works? Do they not only extract substance from antiquarian texts and emanations of time past?? The writers of the Cthulhu mythos surely must ask themselves as they lie in their graves.

So what, I pray tell, is the intention of this blog other than to further contribute to the seemingly faux aura of abstruseness which the constituents of Migraine wish to bring into being?

  2. Comrade, it exists because Migraine wills it.
